As I’m sure many of you already know… I am a Olympic swimmer from The Bahamas with a passion for the development of swimming in The Bahamas. I have competed internationally for the country since
2003 and am proud to have been a part of many milestones that have contributed
to this fast growing sport…Here are a few of the highlights from my career thus far! If you are a swimmer...or just someone who has questions, feel free to contact me on facebook or by email (alanadillette@gmail.com) about anything-I'm here to help in any way I can!

Up to this point…I have had many personal & team successes but also may failures, which brings me to “Swim to Empower”
I have worked with Swim to Empower now for the last 3 years as an instructor and project manager. I am currently working with the founder Brenna Hughes, to restructure the organization as she is moving on to pursue her Medical Degree. I have so many dreams for this program… for this country, and for Bahamian children. We have so much talent out there, with very little access to proper swimming lessons or training. Though my swimming career is closer to the end than the beginning, my dream is to help those with greater talents than I to reach greater heights than I, or any other swimmer has for this country ever before…
Join me in my quest to help Bahamians SWIM to EMPOWER.
